It's Been a While

It's been a while since I last wrote on here so I've got a lot to say. First off we had an amazing speaker last week named Steve who spoke on the fractured heart and how to repair our hearts and come clean again. This was a powerful week for me and I really started to ask for forgiveness for everything in my life. A lot of the students in my class were radically changed which was an awesome thing to witness.
Over the weekend there were a bunch of us that went hitchhiking to a beautiful beach about 10 miles away from campus. That was a very fun adventure and I was scared at first but I'm glad to say I've done it now!
This week we have a speaker named Ben who is speaking on the father heart of God. His main topic is really understanding just how much God loves us. It is a topic that most people glance over and just kind of assume that, yes, God loves us, but what does that really mean? It has been great to finally trust in God and know how much he truely loves me. I am still struggling with giving up all my sin to the Lord and know there is something holding me back from advancing in my faith. I have been continually praying for patients for waiting on the Lord because I know He is going to show Himself to me and I just have to wait.
My days have been really busy lately and I seem to never have any down time and it is really starting to catch up with me. We also started sailing lessons this week so we can all be sailing experts by the time we leave for our outreach.
I please ask that you continue to pray for me and my team and specifically pray for patients for me and that I would trust that the Lord is going to show Himself to me at some point because He brought me here for a reason!

This is me at the beach that we hitchhiked to. The sky was SO blue and there were no clouds!

Forgot to add that we have been making weekly visits to the local middle school where we serve dinner to the Marshall Islanders who live in Hawaii. These people don't live off much money so it is so blessing to serve these people who live in the same community I am living in. This is a little girl, Rosalita, who I met who wanted to braid my hair.
This is a beautiful picture of the beach we hitchhiked to!
